As both the Bush administration and its client government in Israel, with their invasions of Arab states in Iraq and Lebanon respectively, make the United States ever more hated in the Islamic world, a new book by the Chairmen of the 9/11 commission admits that the commission whitewashed the root cause of the 9/11 attacks—that same interventionist U.S. foreign policy.
Former Governor Tom Kean and former Congressman Lee Hamilton, chairmen of the 9/11 Commission—the publicity hounds that they are—want to keep the long retired, but much celebrated, panel in the public mind. They have written a tell-all book about the trials and tribulations of the panel’s work. Despite the commission’s disastrous recommendations—which led to a reorganization of the U.S. intelligence community that worsened its original defect prior to 9/11 (a severe coordination problem caused by bureaucratic bloat)—and apparent whitewashing of the most important single issue that it examined, the chairmen are trying their best to write another best seller. The book usefully details the administration’s willful misrepresentation of its incompetent actions that day, but makes the shocking admission that some commission members deliberately wanted to distort an even more important issue. Apparently, unidentified commissioners wanted to cover up the fact that U.S. support for Israel was one of the motivating factors behind al Qaeda’s 9/11 attack. Although to his credit, Hamilton argued for saying that al Qaeda committed the heinous strike because of the U.S. military presence in the Middle East and American support for Israel, the panel watered down that frank conclusion to state that U.S. policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Iraq are “dominant staples of popular commentary across the Arab and Muslim world.”
Some commissioners wanted to cover up the link between the 9/11 attack and U.S. support for Israel because this might imply that the United States should alter policy and lessen its support for Israeli actions. How right they were. The question is simple: If the vast bulk of Americans would be safer if U.S. politicians moderated their slavish support of Israel, designed to win the support of key pressure groups at home, wouldn’t it be a good idea to make this change in course? Average U.S. citizens might attenuate their support for Israel if the link between the 9/11 attacks and unquestioning U.S. favoritism for Israeli excesses were more widely known. Similarly, if American taxpayers knew that the expensive and unnecessary U.S. policy of intervening in the affairs of countries all over the world—including the U.S. military presence in the Middle East—made them less secure from terrorist attacks at home, pressure would likely build for an abrupt change to a more restrained U.S. foreign policy. But like the original 9/11 Commission report, President Bush regularly obscures this important reality by saying that America was attacked on 9/11 because of its freedoms, making no mention of U.S. interventionist foreign policy as the root cause.
Yet numerous public opinion polls in the Islamic world repeatedly prove the president wrong. The surveys show that people in Muslim countries admire American political and economic freedoms, culture, and technology. But the numbers go through the floor when Islamic people are asked about their approval of U.S. foreign policy. Much of this negative attitude derives from mindless U.S. backing of anything Israel does. In addition, Osama bin Laden has repeatedly written or stated that he attacks the United States because of its military presence in the Persian Gulf and its support for Israel and corrupt regimes in the Arab world.
The Bush administration has worsened the anti-U.S. hatred in Islamic countries, which drives this blowback terrorism, by its invasion of Iraq and its support of Israel’s excessive military response in Lebanon. Unfortunately, innocent Iraqis and Lebanese are unlikely to be the only ones afflicted with the damage from U.S. interventionism. Innocent Israelis and Americans have been, and will likely continue to be, the victims of policies that have been sold by President Bush on the basis of making the citizens of both countries safer and more secure, while the 9/11 Commission obediently has covered the administration’s tracks.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF ISRAELI TERRORIST OPERATIONS

Israel and her supporters invariably justify military action by claiming that they are only “defending themselves against terrorism.” The truth is that Israel has employed offensive terrorist tactics regularly since the nation was founded in 1948.
Uri Mileshtin, an official historian for the Israeli Defense Forces, states that back in 1948, when IDF forces first moved into Palestine, they dumped typhus and dysentery bacilli into the local village wells.
Also in 1948, a group of prominent Jewish Americans signed the following letter to the NEW YORK TIMES:
“Among the most disturbing political phenomena of our times is the emergence in the newly created state of Israel of the “Freedom Party” (Tnuat Haherut), a political party closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties. It was formed out of the membership and following of the former Irgun Zvai Leumi, a terrorist, right-wing, chauvinist organization in Palestine.
The current visit of Menachem Begin, leader of this party, to the United States is obviously calculated to give the impression of American support for his party in the coming Israeli elections, and to cement political ties with conservative Zionist elements in the United States. Several Americans of national repute have lent their names to welcome his visit. It is inconceivable that those who oppose fascism throughout the world, if correctly informed as to Mr. Begin’s political record and perspectives, could add their names and support to the movement he represents.
Before irreparable damage is done by way of financial contributions, public manifestations in Begin’s behalf, and the creation in Palestine of the impression that a large segment of America supports Fascist elements in Israel, the American public must be informed as to the record and objectives of Mr. Begin and his movement.
The public avowals of Begin’s party are no guide whatever to its actual character. Today they speak of freedom, democracy and anti-imperialism, whereas until recently they openly preached the doctrine of the Fascist state. It is in its actions that the terrorist party betrays its real character; from its past actions we can judge what it may be expected to do in the future.
Attack on Arab Village
A shocking example was their behavior in the Arab village of Deir Yassin. This village, off the main roads and surrounded by Jewish lands, had taken no part in the war, and had even fought off Arab bands who wanted to use the village as their base. On April 9 (THE NEW YORK TIMES), terrorist bands attacked this peaceful village, which was not a military objective in the fighting, killed most of its inhabitants — 240 men, women, and children — and kept a few of them alive to parade as captives through the streets of Jerusalem. Most of the Jewish community was horrified at the deed, and the Jewish Agency sent a telegram of apology to King Abdullah of Trans-Jordan. But the terrorists, far from being ashamed of their act, were proud of this massacre, publicized it widely, and invited all the foreign correspondents present in the country to view the heaped corpses and the general havoc at Deir Yassin.
The Deir Yassin incident exemplifies the character and actions of the Freedom Party.
Within the Jewish community they have preached an admixture of ultranationalism, religious mysticism, and racial superiority. Like other Fascist parties they have been used to break strikes, and have themselves pressed for the destruction of free trade unions. In their stead they have proposed corporate unions on the Italian Fascist model.
During the last years of sporadic anti-British violence, the IZL and Stern groups inaugurated a reign of terror in the Palestine Jewish community. Teachers were beaten up for speaking against them, adults were shot for not letting their children join them. By gangster methods, beatings, window-smashing, and wide-spread robberies, the terrorists intimidated the population and exacted a heavy tribute.
The people of the Freedom Party have had no part in the constructive achievements in Palestine. They have reclaimed no land, built no settlements, and only detracted from the Jewish defense activity. Their much-publicized immigration endeavors were minute, and devoted mainly to bringing in Fascist compatriots.
Discrepancies Seen
The discrepancies between the bold claims now being made by Begin and his party, and their record of past performance in Palestine bear the imprint of no ordinary political party. This is the unmistakable stamp of a Fascist party for whom terrorism (against Jews, Arabs, and British alike), and misrepresentation are means, and a “Leader State” is the goal.
In the light of the foregoing considerations, it is imperative that the truth about Mr. Begin and his movement be made known in this country. It is all the more tragic that the top leadership of American Zionism has refused to campaign against Begin’s efforts, or even to expose to its own constituents the dangers to Israel from support to Begin.
The undersigned therefore take this means of publicly presenting a few salient facts concerning Begin and his party; and of urging all concerned not to support this latest manifestation of fascism.

In 1954, Israeli agents working in Egypt planted bombs in several buildings, including a United States diplomatic facility, and left evidence behind implicating Arabs. The ploy would have worked, had not one of the bombs detonated prematurely, allowing the Egyptians to capture and identify one of the bombers, which in turn led to the round up of an Israeli espionage ring. Some of the spies were from Israel, while others were recruited from the local Jewish population. Israel first claimed that there was no spy ring, that it was all a hoax perpetrated by "anti-Semites". But as the public trial progressed, it became obvious that Israel had indeed been behind the bombing. Eventually, Israeli's Defense Minister Pinhas Lavon was brought down by the scandal, although it appears that he was himself the victim of a frame-up by the real authors of the bombing project, code named "Operation Susannah."
This is not the only example of a "False Flag" operation designed to trick the United States into attacking Israel's enemies. According to Victor Ostrovsky, a MOSSAD defector living in Canada, Ronald Reagan was tricked into bombing Libya by means of a radio transmitter smuggled into Tripoli by the MOSSAD, which broadcast messages designed to fool the United States into thinking Libya was about to launch a massive terror attack on the west. On the basis of this bogus evidence, the US bombed Libya, killing Khadaffi's daughter
In Oct. 2001, two men were caught with C-4 explosives, hand grenades and a high powered gun, trying to enter the Mexican Parliament Building. The story was headline news in Mexico, and the incident also appeared on the official site of the Mexican Justice Dept. CNN briefly mentioned a "breaking story" about a "foiled terrorist attack in Mexico” promising further news, but never mentioned the story again. One of the terrorists was a MOSSAD agent, the other a Mexican Jewish person. Israel put very heavy pressure on Mexico to secure their release. The men had fake Passports on them from Pakistan.
During the 9/11 attacks, multiple witnesses observed a group of men with what appeared to be radio-controlled detonators videoing and celebrating the 9/11 Attacks. These men were apprehended and held for several months, then released. They were Israelis, not Muslims. Some of these men later appeared on Israeli talk shows, denying that they celebrated but admitting that "they were sent over to document the Event." These men were caught with some suspicious paraphernalia, cash, etc. When questioned they told the police, "We are your friends, we are not your problem, the Palestinians are your problem."
Many Muslims have been held for a lot longer at Guantanamo on much flimsier evidence than this.
An additional witness who was the lone American employee of URBAN MOVING SYSYTEMS, a moving company in adjacent New Jersey (All the rest were Israelis) reported that they were also celebrating the 9/11 Attacks. After 9/11 they left the country so quickly, that other moving companies had to come in and finish their deliveries
The F.B.I. lists Bin Laden on its wanted poster for the 1996 Attacks only, not the 9/11 Attacks, because they say they have insufficient evidence linking him to 9/11. They do admit that there is evidence connecting Israelis with the 9/11 Attacks, but say that the information is "classified."
The F.B. I also found that a group of MOSSAD Agents was shadowing the 9/11 hijackers in Miami; they rented the apartment next door. Also, seven supposed hijackers are still alive, having been victims of identity theft.
Right during and after the 9/11 Attacks, the NYC 911 emergency dispatcher received an anonymous phone call saying that "a group of Palestinians in a White Van" were observed. The caller stressed that they "were dressed like Arabs" and used the word Palestinians. Evidently MOSSAD tried to create a link.
After the 9/11 Attacks, a group of IDF (Israeli) soldiers over in Palestine baited a group of Palestinians with sweets and jokes, and got them laughing. Then they videoed this behavior, sent it to the U.S. News Media, and stated that the Palestinians were "celebrating the fall of the Twin Towers." The fraudulent nature of this footage was not revealed in the main stream media.
Osama Bin Laden denied any knowledge of the 9/11 Attacks, and many foreign intelligence experts and also some domestic ones, feel that the later tapes and videos in which he confessed are fake. There is ample evidence for this (he is left handed, the "confessor” is right handed, he is rather morose, the “confessor” is haughty and jubilant, etc.)
At any crime scene, there are four things to look at; motive, means, opportunity, and presence at the scene of the crime. Israel alone fulfills all four conditions.
Their own Prime Minister said that the Attacks were "very good' for Israel. We would go to war with Muslim terrorists, build huge bases in the Middle East, and their security is assured. The most likely scenario that the evidence supports is that Israel infiltrated the hijacking plot very early on, then placed explosives in the Twin Towers to insure that the plot succeeded.
As our "friends" Israeli agents could operate with impunity inside the U.S, entering and leaving the Twin Towers at will. On any given day, there were generally several hundred Israelis in the building. Most, I am sure were legitimate business people with no knowledge of the impending attacks. But among them were some MOSSAD people.
The notion that El-Quaeda was responsible is a convenient urban myth without much evidence to back it up. It is very appealing if one clings to the simplistic, "us vs them, good guys vs bad guys"
Mentality. The reality is more complex. El-Quaeda, Hezbollah, the IDF, MOSSAD, and the U.S Military, all have something in common. They all kill innocent bystanders. Then they justify what they do, while condemning similar behavior in their adversaries. In terms of the number of innocent people killed, the U.S. military has killed and injured far more innocent people than the others combined.
It is difficult to say whether the 9/11 Attacks were planned by MOSSAD at the national level, or if a group of agents were involved as part of an international group. Some foreign intelligence sources say that that the 9/11 attacks were planned by a non-Muslim group in the U.K. Several of the identity thefts of the supposed hijackers took place in England. It is hard to conceive that Bin-Laden would have directed and planned identity thefts in England from a cave in Afghanistan. Sounds more like a foreign intelligence operation. A number of foreign intelligence experts, and even some with the CIA and the F.B.I. agree that much of the evidence supports the notion of involvement by a national intelligence service.
Besides MOSSAD, MI-6 and the Deuxieme Bureau (French Intelligence) also reportedly had advance knowledge of the 9/11 operation. This suggests that a major Intelligence service was heavily involved.
During WW II, the head of BSC (British Secret Service) operations in the U.S., Sir William Stevensen often marveled at the gullibility and naivete of Americans. Some things haven’t changed since then.
The scenario that the evidence best supports is that Israeli agents became aware early on of the hijacking plot, as evidenced by their shadowing of the hijackers in Miami; As one of our “friends”, and with several hundred people from Israel working in the Twin Towers every day, they had easy access and were able to place explosives in the buildings, and bring them down. It is likely that their agents were responsible for parking the van, and placing a Koran inside it. When I first heard about the van with the Koran, it sounded much too contrived. It is more plausible that the Koran was placed there by those who wanted the 9/11 attacks closely associated with Muslims. Americans are so well trained that this point, that any terrorist act can easily be pinned on Arab terrorists. Just blow up a building, park a car outside, and leave a Koran on the front seat.
The operation was a spectacular intelligence success for MOSSAD. The U.S. went to war in the Middle East. With our Navy and bases peppering the entire region, Israel’s security position is much improved.
The F.B.I states that they have insufficient evidence implicating Bin Laden in the 9/11 attacks to put him on a wanted poster. They also say that the evidence linking Israel to the attacks is “classified”
Although this report is not news to some people, it at least shows us that maybe us "conspiracy nuts" are closer to the truth than some feel comfortable to admit.

I have encountered many of your kind who I suspect are going to be rather disappointed, to say the least, when the "rapture" passes them over due to their disobedience to Christ's teachings.
